Best time to visit

Spring and Autumn between Mar- May, Sep- Nov are best months to visit. Summer is also pretty good for places at an altitude. The temperature will be pleasant with minimal rains and snow

Visa

UK needs a separate visa. Schengen visa is not valid for UK. The requirements are easier compared to Schengen visa

Getting In and around

London is the hub for British airways, and is well connected to most cities in Europe. There are multiple airports in London, so check on the exact one before departing. Eurostar rail connects Paris in 2.5 hours

Westminister Abbey: Aug-Sep time is when you can go inside. The outside is itself iconic and gives you a sense of magnificent British architecture

London Eye: Large wheel with many cabins that can accommodate 25+ people in a pod, giving a nice option to get bird’s eye view of the city

The Shard: One of the tallest buildings, good to see the night view of the city

Tower of London: Nice castle on the banks of river Thames

Tower bridge: Iconic bridge of the city across river Thames

Picadilly Circus: Statue of Eros and wide LED screens are the hallmark of this place

Hyde Park: One of the largest parks in the city for a peaceful stroll or run

British museum: To get immersed in history

Madam Tussauds museum: More for fun to see your favorite celebrities in wax

How much does it cost
